About me
Hey! My name is Kinslee Clark, I am an 19 year-old college student. I am studying Linguistics with an emphasis in Greek, Philosophy and Spanish. I am also hoping to take some Hebrew classes. Despite my major, I have always dreamed of owning my own coffee shop. I have worked two jobs growing up, and both of them were at café’s. My love for coffee started when my parents bought an espresso machine in 2018. I was obsessed with figuring out how to steam my milk correctly so I could pour perfect latte art. In 2021, I began my first job at Ironworks Waffle Café. The owners had experience at a nice coffee shop in Columbus, OH, and they taught me everything I know about coffee now.
I decided to start a mobile coffee catering cart instead of a brick and mortar café because my family and I though it would be a good stepping stone. At 18, I do not have the funds or time to start a physical shop, but my parents have been gracious to help me in the process of starting this mobile cart.
About Ivrim
The name “Ivrim” comes from the Hebrew word “םיירבע” which translates to “hebrews”. I decided to use the plural form “hebrews” because of the infamous joke, '“how does Moses make his coffee?” “hebrews it”.
I want to many my coffee cart as earth-conscious as possible by using fully compostable coffee cups, lids, sleeves, and straws. I do my best to reuse plastic containers and reduce waste. I do my best to recycle empty milk containers, and use glass syrup bottles. All of my syrups are homemade, which reduces carbon emissions, is cheaper, excludes unnecessary preservatives or color, and provides rich and delicious flavor.
